Gigi Rigamonti produces sculptures, paintings, drawings, installations and photographs.
His paintings and sculptures are polyhedral: the expression of a free reconciliation of geometric rigor and creative freedom.
Gigi Rigamonti was born in Desio in 1949. He lives and works in Lugano, Switzerland and San Pantaleo, Sardinia, Italy.
Gigi Rigamonti has shown his works extensively around the world.
His work has been exhibited at such an important art events and institutions such as: Art Basel Miami Beach, Metropolitan Museum in New York City, Guggenheim Museum in New York City, United States, Biennale «Arte e Moda» in Florence, SILOS Museum of Giorgio Armani in Milan, Palazzo Reale in Milan, Courtrai Biennale in Belgium, Sotheby's Auction in Milan, Italy and many other art events.
Rigamonti’s artworks are part of important art collections in Lugano, Zurich, Geneva, Milan, Rome, Cernobbio, Paris, Monte Carlo, Porto Cervo, Düsseldorf, New York City, Shanghai, Hong Kong and other cities.
